Cobble
Texts from shops on Cobble
Cobble is the ordering platform local shops use for their online orders. When you ask for it at checkout, the shop texts you updates about your order from its own number.
- Who texts you
- The shop you ordered from, from its own phone number, registered with the carriers in the shop’s name. Cobble is the ordering platform that sends them for the shop. Each text starts with the shop’s name.
- What they are
- Updates about an order you placed: that it’s confirmed, when it’s ready, that it’s on its way or delivered, a change, a cancellation or a refund. No marketing or promotional texts.
- How you sign up
- By ticking the unticked box under your mobile number at the shop’s checkout. Texts are never a condition of buying. Each shop’s texting terms are on its own site, linked from that box.
- From Cobble's number
- A few shops have their order texts sent from Cobble’s own number instead. Those texts start “Cobble:” and name the shop, are only about an order you placed, and STOP to that number stops them for every shop that uses it. Cobble’s sign-in codes for business owners are separate.
- How often
- Message frequency varies with your orders.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping
- Reply STOP to any text and that shop won’t text you again. Reply START to sign up again.
- Help
- Reply HELP, or email info@cobblecommerce.com.
- Your number
- Used only to send you the texts you asked for. We do not share, sell, rent or transfer mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See Cobble’s privacy policy.
- Delivery
- Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
